RACE FOR CITY COUNCIL

The Roanoke Times today had an article discussing Roanoke's goals of retaining and luring younger people to Roanoke. This Wednesday (January 16th) at 1pm in front of the Municipal Building downtown we will announce that a younger professional is running for the Democratic nomination for City Council. Invite all your friends and family and please join us on Wednesday.

I may be biased - but when a young, bright, invested member of our community wants to run for local office - I say GREAT NEWS, and urge other young Roanoke City residents to do what they can to support him. Lets not let same folks be the ones who make all the decisions - new energy, new voice - gets my vote!

Just got asked to write about my feelings on Roanoke and its quality of life for a great local website that a Hollins University student has designed.
